Dear writers, readers, and correspondents,
This project sprang out of nowhere, it would seem, during a conversation with a mutual of mine. The idea was one I’d tossed around in my head for a while, and after seeing various friends online express interest in pen pals, writing, and otherwise sharing letters with one another, I began thinking how best to create a place where that would work.
And so The Correspondence Project grew.
It is here now, and as a platform still in its infancy I hope (dearly wish, that is) to see it grow under the joint creative expression of the correspondents. I’m here mainly as a steward, to help usher in new stories, new members, new letters, whilst taking a back seat and watching your creativity flourish.
So, from me to you, I wish you welcome, I wish you bon voyage, and I wish you the best. I cannot wait to see what you create here!
